The submission form was being a pain, so we’re officially reopening the queue a little earlier than expected. However, we a some new policy:
You’re no longer able to choose a reviewer. Unfortunately, that didn’t work out as well as I had hoped it would. Somehow, one reviewer always seemed swamped while others were completely free with nothing to do. So from now on, we pick you. Whoever is free to review and wants to will pluck a site out of the “Unassigned” queue to completely [sometimes it will be a collaboration.] We won’t guarantee that you’ll be first, and we’re not saying there’s a definate time period for you to be chosen. All we’re promising is that your review will be done. Sooner or later. We’ll email you once you get chosen by someone, and after that, its your responsibility to check back to see if the reviewer has started the review or not. [In other words, we’ll email you once you make it onto an individual reviewer’s “to-do” list, but we won’t notify you when they start your review. Because Sanosuke is lazy like that.]
On a completely un-related note, I added a few resources to the linkage page and a few staff members are going on hiatus. We’d love staff applications if anyone’s interested!
